📄Camera information:
The Canon Prima BF8 (Date) is a 35mm compact, fully automatic film camera with viewfinder, produced by Canon Camera Co., Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, and released in 1998.
In America the Prima BF8 (Date) is known as the Canon Snappy LXII/Date, and in Japan as the BF35D.
This camera stands out because of its extra-large viewfinder, which is three times larger than usual viewfinders. The "BF" stands for Big Finder. It was the last camera in the Canon Snappy series.
While the BF-8 had a fixed focus, the Prima AF-8 added autofocus to the same basic body. This made it possible to easily take sharp photos with the Prima AF-8, making it a useful choice for beginners and experienced photographers alike. The Canon Prima BF8 (Date) therefore offers a combination of ease of use and performance in a compact form.
