One person reads that address.

What we keep, and why

To send you an object we need a name, an address, an email address and a payment confirmation. That is the whole list, and the reason is the order between us.

If you join the Thursday email we keep your email address and nothing else. That one rests on your consent, and you withdraw it with one click in every email we send.

If you ask to be told when a particular model comes in, we keep the model and your email address until we have told you.

If you write to us, we keep the message so that we can answer it.

What we do not do

We do not sell anything about you, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not build a profile of you. There is no advertising pixel on this shop and no cross-site tracking.

Who else touches it

Shopify runs the shop and the checkout and stores the order.
Shopify Payments takes the payment. We never see your card number.
Klaviyo sends the Thursday email and the back-in-stock message.
Google Analytics counts visits, and only after you have said yes to it.
The carrier shown at checkout gets your name and address, because otherwise the parcel does not arrive.

Each one sees only what it needs to do its job. Shopify and Klaviyo are American companies, so your data may be processed in the United States; that transfer rests on the safeguards in their data processing agreements: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order records: seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. Email addresses for the Thursday email: until you ask us to stop. Messages you send us: two years.

What you can ask for

You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to what we do with it. Write to business@unseend.com and you will get an answer within a month, usually the same week.

If you think we have handled it badly, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.

Cookies

The necessary ones only, until you say otherwise: the bag has to remember what is in it and the checkout has to know it is you. Nothing else loads before you agree, and you can change your answer from the link in the footer. The whole of it is at unseend.com/pages/cookies.
